Confused About Timeshare are a leading player in the timeshare market but had fallen behind with their web presence. They came to us because they recognised that they needed help. Firstly they needed a website that inspired their end users to want to buy a timeshare. The design needed to be fresh, intuitively communicate the holiday feel and needed to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with other leading travel companies as an example of good user experience. Above all it also needed to be available for users on all devices.
What we did
The old website had an alarming red on white colour palette and so the first thing we did was talk to the client about developing a new colour palette that would invoke a relaxed feel. We developed a new, modern logo and used the blue and white approach, with orange as a zesty call to action, in order to create a tranquil look and feel. Key to the design was to create excitement about holidays in the end user so we selected a number of images that instantly inspire the holiday dream in the user. These were specifically selected to work with the colour palette.
A new set of filters were created to allow users to easily search and find timeshare options and resort imagery was incorporated as a key part of the design, so that users could quickly see and get excited about potential destinations.
